I had a great time doing my first live webcast on Facebook March 25th. I do intend to do more of them across different platforms. Stay tuned.
As you know, the live performances that musicians depend on for a living have all been put on hold indefinitely. While we figure out how to do what we do online, I wanted to offer ideas for ways to connect and continue to support what we do.
Consider purchasing albums and songs in permanent downloadable form through iTunes, GooglePlay and Bandcamp.
Consider purchasing CDs. For $20 ($24 for "about november" ) I can mail you a CD anywhere in Canada. PayPal or e-transfer to email@example.com
Stream music online.*
Request a song or video. If there's a particular song you'd like me to record or perform for you, let me know. I could dedicate it to you, someone you love or to a particular occasion. I could post an audio or video file online or send it to you privately.
Make me an offer.
Commission a song or piece of music. I could write a song for a specific occasion or person or event. I can write a song or a score for your film or video or ringtone. I can record a menacing outgoing message for your voicemail.
Or you could just leave something in the virtual tip jar below. Many thanks!
I wish you love, luck and good health,
*Streaming services such as Spotify pay independent artists extremely poorly. This is why downloads and CDs are preferred. If you're streaming songs by an artist you love, make sure to stream them many many many times, i.e. create a playlist, put it on repeat and let it run for a couple of months, ok? Thanks, you're the best! xo, K.
